Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have over 180 students come through my classroom during a typical day. From 9th to 12th grade, they come for enrichment class to imagine, research, design, and build projects from posters and displays. During that time, they used many resources, like masking tape, pom-poms, wiggly eyes, construction paper, styrofoam, erasers, feathers, poster boards, presentation boards, push pins, copy paper, and Sharpies. Additionally, prior to their projects I review material and content with the students. The standing desk and speakers will be utilized during lecture settings. The materials need to be replenished from time to time in order to facilitate my unique classroom. I am hoping for some generous donations to help keep our students going for the rest of the year and beyond.
