This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hello! I have the pleasure of teaching 21 lovely first graders in a charter school located in Kansas City.
My class is predominately African-American with all students qualifying for free breakfast and lunch.
They come from various urban backgrounds where education isn't always the easiest but it is the best way to break generational curses.
With their eagerness to learn, I know their futures are full of success! Thank you so much for considering your donation! We truly appreciate it from the bottoms of our hearts!
My Project
We have been working so hard all year and we are in need of a mid-year supply refresh. We are in need of pencils, markers, and cleaning supplies that we use daily. Our daily supplies are slowly diminishing from all of our hard work.
My students love various scented markers and stamps.
These items really motivate them to learn more and reach their goals. Who does not love a little incentive to help reach their goals?
Lastly, in a room full of so much love, sanitation is key! Wipes and hand sanitizer are also needed. We are serious about our learning and our health! Thank you!
