Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our Kindergarten classes are full of 5-to-6 year-old students ready to jump into learning. Their eyes are full of questions and their hands are raised ready to share home stories at any given moment. Each of our kindergarten teachers love their energetic responses and creative ways of thinking.
Our culturally diverse classrooms reminds us of the importance of providing a safe environment for equal learning opportunities.
Whether they learn through kinesthetics, visuals or auditory each of these young learners has a defining place in our community classroom. These young learners enter each class with an expectation of an enjoyable and exciting learning experience and this is what keeps us teachers on our toes!
My Project
Our students have reached the middle of the school year. Each item requested will replace used items and help us progress through the remainder of the year.
Our students have been writing all year and are in need of new Primary Journals.
The journals requested will help us provide students with a fresh journal for new writing journeys! AVID Headphones will be used in connection with student Chromebooks when listening to school-approved applications and lessons.
Miniature whiteboards will be given to two co-teachers that move from class to class. These whiteboards will help them present writing lessons for our students.
