Our school is located in a rural Texas community. The high school marching band consists of students in grades 8-12. They enjoy performing exciting shows for their school and their community. Currently, our students meet once a week on Zoom but are unable to perform their instruments since we do not have the equipment to put music together online. However, they are currently practicing their instruments and music on their own at home. They take pride in their accomplishments while looking forward to presenting challenging and entertaining performances this upcoming season.

Even now, when we can't be together in the band hall, they keep their spirit up and band family together by spending time together online.
My Project
Our Mighty Marching Band is keeping their spirits high and music going through this Covid-19 epidemic. Knowing that August will be here soon, they want to make sure they are ready to give the best performances possible to their community. That means a lot of practice on their solos and getting used to being mic'd. Microphones would enable the students to practice their solos as they will be performing this fall. They would also be able to record their practice and send it to the directors for performance suggestions.
Marching Band not only builds the self-esteem and team-building skills of each bandsman, but it also builds community pride.
Now more than ever, our community's families are struggling emotionally as well as financially. Please help our Mighty Marching Band bring back music and spirit to our community this fall.
