Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our high school students are hard-working students whose families care a lot about their success. They come from low socio-economic backgrounds, with almost every student qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Over 90 percent are Hispanic, and many of them will be the first person in their family to graduate from college.

I want to give our students the resources they need to keep them learning.

Education develops our greatest abilities because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation.

My Project

My students will be creating virtual field trip videos to support their learning about the culture and current events in the world.

My students will work remotely and engage in group activities to promote collaboration.

Taking classes online will help my students think critically, exert creativity, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively to succeed in a 21st-century world.

My students will gain knowledge in working with new information and technology literacy. This laptop will also support the skills that are important to prepare our students for the 21st Century workforce and beyond.
