My students are among the smartest, brightest, loving and most inquisitive students out there! I have the privilege of teaching kindergarten! Each child enters my room with a different story and background, and my job is to bring them in as my own and create a loving and safe environment for them to learn and grow. My classroom is full of 18 enthusiastic, engaged kindergartners. They come to school eager to learn new things every day. We are constantly pushing forward to meet curriculum guidelines and benchmarks.
My Project
Through the use of the Microsoft Go tablet, I will finally have the opportunity to use technology as a tool to enhance my students learning. Since the Microsoft Go has the same functions as a lap top computer, I will have the capability to download Smartboard software and connect it to my classroom projector. Like a tablet, the touch features of the Pro will enable individual students to have a hands-on experience with their learning and allow those students watching to equally develop in their educational experience by transforming my white board into an interactive Smartboard. The Microsoft Pro also has the capability to download Apps. This feature provides endless amounts of support for my students' learning. In teacher led small groups, I will be able to use various apps to help develop math and reading skills for my students. Additionally, my class will be able to interact with great behavior management apps such as Class Dojo, and I can use data tracking apps to collect student data
