My classroom is full of wonderful, active first graders. They thrive on working together and helping one another. I teach in a Title I, low income school that services a wide range of needs and abilities. I am lucky to have a very diverse group of learners this year.
This year in my classroom we are working on building a community of learners through hard work and kindness.
As a class, we are committed to helping everyone become the best learner they can be and being kind and grateful along the way.
My Project
My students need 3 AmScope microscopes with slides to enhance our science lessons. Many lessons would be made better if we had the ability to observe the things we are studying at a microscopic level.
My students love to observe things and get very excited about science.
I want to foster their love for science and give them an opportunity to observe things at a deeper level. The slides included with this microscope have animal, insect and plant materials that they would love to study and explore. These microscopes will allow for observation, collaboration and discovery that my students will thrive on.
