My students are the best part of my school day. They are smart, curious, and energetic 9 and 10 year olds. They are engaging and love to learn. They all learn in different ways and enjoy peer teaching one another.
My goal is to teach my students how to be responsible for their own education and learn problem solving skills.
Their minds are full of possibilities and they have so much to share with on another while becoming clear difference makers in the world. I want to give them the opportunity to create, design, and elevate their ideas.
My Project
My students will use the mice to increase the richness of learning in the classroom. The mice will allow students to maximize their time and be more efficient on their learning devices. The AA batteries will ensure that the mice are available for each student everyday. My students will use the Over the Door Hanging Shoe Holder to safely store their mice and batteries when they leave for the day. It is important that my students are responsible for their own learning devices and be organized with their materials. The Electric 3-Hole Punch will allow my students to keep organized binders throughout the year and support their ability to be successful learners.
My students are often reminded to Feed Their Brains because it is important to stay focus during the day.
The refrigerator will allow students to store healthy food choices throughout the day for fueling their brilliant minds. The ergonomic foot rest is essential for students to place their dangling legs. The foot rest can improve their posture and circulation while they are learning. The Chair Bands for kids with Fidgety Feet are stretchy tethers that allow my students to bounce their feet and stretch their legs under their desks quietly while learning without distracting their classmates.
The Cricut tools, Cricut blade, and vinyl will be used with a machine that students will use to produce Science Fair posters, anchor charts, and graphic organizers to reinforce their learning. Students will be able to create objects to magnify their comprehension of math concepts by classifying ideas and patterns. The Novelinks Transparent 4" x 6" Plastic Container will keep math task cards organized and ready for learning. Students will use the task cards to enhance and explore math more deeply or extend it into related areas such as Science and Technology.
