Help me give my students new computer mice. We have a small aging set of mice and we need to refresh our equipment so every child can use a mouse while using the computer.
Our school is a wonderful reflection of our diverse and eclectic community. The Mahi students have affectionally named me "Mahi Mama" and they are my "Mahi Babies". I have the unique opportunity to spend all three years with my students and now teach many siblings of former students. We have bonded as an extended family through smiles, tears, surprises, and loss.
My class is full of curious learners ready to explore and grow!
They love to creatively interact with​ hands-on experiences and have fun along the way.
My Project
It is challenging for many young children to navigate a computer using the mouse touch pad. Our school has been able to acquire a set of Chromebooks for our program level students, but we do not have the appropriate equipment for each child. Tiny fingers and new computer skills do not make touch pads easy for us.
We need a new class set of computer mice to keep our students engaged in 21st Century Learning.
Our class has a limited number of mice so some children are left struggling to operate the program they are using. Being able to successfully click and drag or roll to scroll will help my students on a daily basis.
