Mice for Our Laptops

Help me give my students Mice for our laptops, clicking and dragging is hard for 5-8 year olds.

My Project

Our computers are older and most programs require "scrolling" to get to information. A mouse with a scrolling wheel is the next best thing to a touch screen these days. Books, apps, and websites require being able the click and right clicking without a mouse is very hard. While this is a skill they often learn over time, many kids today have devices with touch screens and using a touchpad and clicking and dragging is very difficult for 5-8 years olds to do. With a mouse they can more easily access and navigate their work. Unfortunately our laptops are older and don't have touch screens and this can be a trial for the students to navigate programs, assignments and even state tests. Please help us make these laptops work for my students, they are doing their very best.
