I have the opportunity to teach music to numerous enthusiastic students each day. I want to expose them to as much as possible. Music is the vehicle that helps me shape these young minds.
The group of kids I have are very self-motivated, have a genuine love for music, and are eager to grow and learn.
The vast majority of my students are freshmen and sophomores, so I will have this particular group for a several more years. Our school has more than half receiving free or reduced price lunch. With your support, we can take what we do to the next level!
My Project
This year has been interesting to say the least. With Covid becoming more and more common, choir teachers have to become even more precautions and creative so we can safely teach and make music. We currently have a sound system and mics, but we do not have mic stands of our own.
Please help get us these mic stands so we're able to use our existing sound system more often and put on higher quality outdoor performances.
We have been lucky to make-by and borrow a couple of mic stands from a local church, but we really need to have our own. The hassle of going to get the stands every time we have a performance is something we should try to avoid. Please consider helping us!
