My students are thriving young performing artists. They are exploring all aspects of performance from music literacy, character development, solo performance, and ensemble experiences. Performing Arts experiences encourage collaboration.
Meeting students with 21st-century real-world learning opportunities is essential to providing relevance in a traditional performance ensemble.

Our school is in the heart of a community that supports education and knows its value. Students are motivated and engaged. Students are eager to learn; they embrace a challenging work environment and express the desire to be the best in all endeavors.
Performances are best when they can be heard. Students will utilize the vocal mics for group amplification. They will help to enhance our choral and theatrical presentations on stage when rehearsing and for performance. As we explore vocal jazz, and musical theater acknowledging the elements of performance practice is key. Students deserve to be heard. When working with a larger cast, decisions concerning who gets a mic can be a challenge. Adding to existing equipment is essential.
The items listed would definitely increase productivity, both in and out of class.
The amount of funding provided for fine arts is often limited. Finding alternative funding sources helps to stretch the fine arts allocation. Understanding the value of performance is crucial for young artists. This project will definitely help enhance my student performances.
