This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a predominately low-income neighborhood where over 80% of students receive free or reduced lunch. Students will be split into a three day trip (due to museum constraints, only 50 students per day are allowed to attend the trip). The trip will take the students on a journey through various ancient civilizations. This will provide the students with an invaluable opportunity to get up close and personal with artifacts from the civilizations that they have studied all year.

My Project

Students will be split into a three day trip (due to museum constraints, only 50 students per day are allowed to attend the trip). The trip will take the students on a journey through various ancient civilizations such as Ancient Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.

This will provide the students with an invaluable opportunity to get up close and personal with artifacts from the civilizations that they have studied all year.
