My Project

My class is full of adventurous boys who love to play outside! Our preschool program is working to build up resources and materials to use in an outdoor classroom space. We have been so lucky to gather a great number of resources through amazing donations from generous people and now we are hoping to make some bigger additions - a mud kitchen, outdoor art easel, & gardening pots!!

In preschool, we are always learning through play and discovery in a variety of different ways.

Inside, we get to play in the dramatic play center and take on many different roles. Taking it outside, we want to do the same. We want to give our little learners ample opportunities to play and explore by taking on the same roles but with new materials in a new environment. We also want to continue to offer opportunities for our little learners to express themselves through art using the outdoor easel.

Preschoolers love seeing their hard work come to life! With the addition of the hanging planters, we will be able to plant things from seeds and watch them grow each day! Our little friends will be so proud of their hard work and be able to take responsiblity for caring for the plants we are growing!
