My students use manipulatives to help them solve daily math problems. However, all the different types of manipulatives are currently stored together in a large container. Students are not able to find the correct manipulative needed to help solve their problems.
My students consist of a diverse group of learners with very different backgrounds.
Many of my students come from low income families. It is their diversity that makes them so unique. My students thrive on positive adult and peer interactions and the feeling of success in school.
My Project
When my students are solving math problems they lean to manipulatives to help them answer the question. Currently students have to dig through a container to find similar objects before answering a question. They are wasting valuable learning time trying to find the correct objects. The cubby storage system will allow us to have all the manipulatives separated and stored giving students quick and easy access to the tools they need.
Please help us get our math manipulatives organized!
With your donation, we will get organized giving students more time to work on math then sorting tools and wasting time. Students will be able to quickly get the appropriate tools needed to help them solve the problem at hand.
