My Students

My students come to school every day to learn new things and challenge themselves. Each and every day they come to class with a smile and an eagerness to learn. Our classroom is diverse with students from many countries and different backgrounds. We love learning from one another and sharing our similarities and differences.

We are learning how to interact socially and emotionally with one another as well as learning through the stories we read!

My Project

These books will help my students engage in their learning by giving them wonderful exemplar texts to listen to during our read alouds. My students love when we get new books in our classroom. To see the excitement on their faces when I reveal these new amazing books is worth everything!

My students especially love to make connections between the texts we receive and the content we are learning.

These wonderful books will help me provide my students with excellent mentor texts for all of writing units. We can't wait!
