This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Please help us!! Because the federal government has mandated the law of No Child Left Behind, my class of mentally disabled students desperately need your help with a math program. Before, these children were taught according to their ability level. This year, they are having to be taught on their grade level. My class does not have any grade level materials. I have used the Saxon Math program in the past but on a lower level. It is an excellent program because it reviews daily and uses many manipulative's. The students learn better and retain the skills taught. My school is ordering us a student's book and a teacher's manuel. We need some of the other materials that go with the program such as the assessments, solutions, facts practice,and answer key transparencies. These children have much difficulty learning and retaining skills, and I know that this program would be extremely beneficial to them. They will have to take a test at the end of the year similar to the End-of-Grade test. I really want them to be as successful as possible and, I know that this program will allow that. Your help would be greatly appreciated for many years to come. Please help these children!
