I need to bring mental health resources to my school for parents to ease their child's anxiety.

My Students

Students come to see me all day, every day. They all come with emotional or physical needs. Some are happy, some are not. I try to put them all back on the path to happy.

Most of what I see in a day is anxiety related.

I see a high volume of students just because the size of our school is large. Most students are healthy and are able to return to class.

The students here are motivated and love school. It is a fun place to go to school. We have many wellness opportunities for the kids.

My Project

This training will allow me to provide mental health resources to the students at my school. I can teach students how to cope with daily stressors. Students nowadays experience more anxiety than in the past and need coping mechanisms.

I want students to be more relaxed and successful at school.

I hope that by learning these techniques early they will realize the importance of self care in their lives.

This program teaches students specific things to help them through their daily struggles as well as their difficult times. Our world is rapid fire and it is important that they know how to cope.
