My Students
My scholars consist of a wide range of personalities that all have one thing in common, the eagerness to grow as scholars. With your support of my project, I will be able to provide my scholars with resources for success.
I want to set my 5th graders on a path for college readiness.
My scholars are growing up in a low-income area that does not predict their educational trajectory. They work hard to get smart, have fun, and be college-ready. I have a class of twenty-five, brilliant scholars! They are researchers, mathematicians, scientists, authors, historians, etc. My students are the future of Dallas and future members of our society. Every day, they come into my classroom excited to learn and ready to take on the challenges I have set up for them. These youngsters deserve the absolute best education they can get, and they deserve to be supported in every way possible in the most important year of their educational career.
My Project
We have been blessed with some digital donations for our classroom. They consisted of digital cameras and camcorders. In our class we want to create assignments that will have our students showcase their 21st century skills. The cameras and camcorders did not come with any memory cards. Our students will be using these resources to create our school yearbook, digital book reviews, and other exciting projects.
Memory cards will help us save our digital creations to keep our 5th grade memories alive!
The memory cards will allow groups to use the digital resources and save their work. They will create digital creations on the computer to then share their projects.
