Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember your year in kindergarten? I have 24 amazing students that will have the opportunity to remember their year in kindergarten with pictures taken from a quality digital camera.
Our school is located in California in an area that is considered, "disadvantaged." I have 13 boys and 11 girls.
The majority of them are ELD students, with Spanish being their primary language. Many of them will become bilingual, which is an "advantage."
My Project
I am requesting a Canon Rebel T3 camera. Having such a quality camera will let me take quality pictures. Pictures of science experiments, fieldtrips, hands-on activities, art projects, my kids at work, and just plain...being a kid. I expect quality work from my students, I would like to give/show them quality pictures/memories.
Having a quality digital camera will allow me to take amazing pictures of amazing kids!
At the end of our school year, I will be able to present each student a personal collage of their year in kindergarten. You are helping to create these wonderful memories!
