My students need a Fujifilm instax mini 8 Camera, camera case and film to capture memories of their first experience in school with their teacher and friends.
I am a teacher in a Title I low-income school district in the Bronx, New York. My students come from many different backgrounds. Many of the students I get each year have never been away from their parents for long periods of time. For some, this is their very first experience in a school and classroom. I want to make sure it is a great and memorable experience for them.
My students love to be in the spotlight and show off all the new things they know and are learning.
For them to be able to take those memories home to their families would be amazing. Being able to capture the smiles on their faces would be a memory in itself!
For many of my students' this is their very first time in a school and in a classroom setting. This little camera will have a huge impact on my students and their learning because it will help create a lifetime of memories of all the learning that happened in the classroom. They have never been exposed to being around other students and teachers. Creating memories with pictures of their work, their friends, their teachers and their school will truly capture long lasting memories for them and their families. These pictures will also help create tags, labels, art work and workstation activities that will aid in learning where to get their belongings, how to write their names, and what groups they need to work in. This specific camera will allow instant pictures to be used and given to the students and their families right away. My students' and I would love to be able to use this in the classroom.
