My Project

I teach in an intensive autism classroom, with seven students with multiple sensory needs. These needs include but are not limited to vestibular and hyposensitivity which affects their abilities to stand still along with spacial awareness and need for deep pressure.

All of the items included in this project are meant to revamp our current sensory room.

That includes a mini gymnastics bar for our students who love to climb and swing, along with a foam ball pit we intend to put bean bags in for our students who enjoy pressure.
