With the start of the school year, I currently have eight students on my roster ranging from first to fourth grade! All my students come from different backgrounds and have different needs.
All my students have some form of behavior issues.
These issues range from mild defiance to extreme explosion. One main thing they have in common is sensory issues!
My students are all great, but need just a little extra help to be successful. Please help them achieve their goal of being able to be successful in a general education setting and move out of my classroom.
My Project
One of the main problems my students face is being hungry. Some students have to get up so early in the morning due to their parents having to work and they do not get something to eat.
School lunch seems to be forever for these students.
Having a snack a day will not only help with their hunger, but with their focus and academics.
My students also are able to "buy" food items during their reward system time. By having snacks, they will be a big boost to trying to earn the points to have a good day.
