Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing small humans who see and learn the world differently than most. All of my students have an IEP. An IEP means that they each have an Individual Education Plan. I love that they learn differently than most. Each of my students have different needs in order to help them learn. Some of my students need naps throughout the day or other tools to help them.
Many of my caseload kids have high sensory needs that require a sensory diet in order for them to learn.
Some students require tools to participate proficiently in class. This year, I also want to increase my incentive selection. Not all of my students are driven by the power of knowledge, and they need more. Finally, a lot of my caseload struggles to sit in a chair. I would like to provide them with choice seating to allow them to learn while moving. All of my students have a unique way of learning, and it is my job to teach them so they are most successful. I would appreciate any help you can provide for my future leaders.
My Project
These things will help students in school. Some of my kids do not get enough sleep at home and need a cat nap. Other of my kids have sensory needs and need to jump. All of my kids have reward charts where they can earn to play with some of things.

These are things I can currently use and will be able to use for years to come. I am asking for multiples of certain things because we can not share this year. I want to make sure I have plenty of items to help my students this year, but I also want to be able to wash it and reuse it for future students.
