Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
One of my top goals this year is that my kids believe that they are writers. Writing is not just something your teacher makes you do, it is a way to express yourself. As we near the end of writing personal narratives, we decided to have a Hollywood-themed Publishing Party. On this day, our class will share their books with their families and staff.
Help me celebrate our kindergarten authors and the amazing personal narrative books they have created!
My goal for this publishing party is to create more excitement about our writers workshop and show how far they've come as writers by creating a different scene with a Hollywood theme. The movie night invitation will be sent out to parents to invite them to this big event. We will change the setting using all the Hollywood decor. Each student will receive a mini star trophy with a label to describe how well they did and as a reward they will each receive a treat box fill with snacks and candies.
