I teach a diverse group of kindergarteners that are eager and ready to learn.
The kindergarteners in my class are young 21st Century scholars who are absorbing new information on a daily basis.
I try to allow as much movement through out the day as possible as these students are very young and active learners.
Fun and memorable kindergarten years are the foundation of their academic career success! I want the students to develop a love and need for education.
My Project
Help me give my students the opportunity to move in a positive way while they learn. Young children need to move as often as possible! Wobble stools helps the kids focus on their learning! They are also helpful to the students with ADHD and other Intellectual Disabilities.
In my kindergarten classroom, wobble stools will be used by all of my students.
As we teach Guided Reading and Math Centers, students rotate to two different centers during this time. The wobble stools will be placed at my guided reading table and my assistants’ table. This gives every single student in my class the opportunity to use the wobble stools every single day.
Wobble stools let students get their wiggles out while at the same time focus on their learning.
Wobble stools are especially helpful to students with ADHD. One of the best things about wobble stools, is that they let the students move in a safe and quiet way that they do not disturb the learning of the other students.
We always want to provide all learners with the tools that are necessary for student success.
