Meet Me At The Games!
My students need 5 board games to play on rainy days, work on teamwork, and solve problems.
I am a third teacher in a lower economic school district in Northern California. Due to the huge budget cuts we had this year, we do not have money to buy games and other materials for my classroom.
My students often have nothing to do on rainy days when they are stuck inside the classroom all day. Currently, most of the games in my classrooms are in poor shape. They are not complete, missing parts and pieces, and falling apart. I am in desperate need for rainy day board games for my classroom.
Board games provide students an opportunity to work on problem-solving, communication, and team work skills. It also is a way for the student to get a break from the academic rigor they face when they are in class.
If you want to help me provide some rainy day board games for my classroom, please fund this proposal. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
