This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about the students I educate is their perseverance and their ability to keep moving forward. Whatever obstacle comes in their way they are ready to work through it to reach the end. Having come back to face to face learning has been challenging for everyone.

Meditation, reflection, and motivation are key to moving forward.

The yoga mats purchased will be used to teach kids the art of meditation and reflection. The parachute and bingo games will be used to build relationships among students. This will expand their social skills with others than just their immediate circle of friends.
