Help me give my students a puppet theatre, puppets, and a puppet stand for the library also some student-friendly video cameras for the video production room at our school.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Greetings! I am proud to serve as the media specialist at our school during its inaugural school year. Our school is a Title I school that educates and supports roughly 700 lower-income students and families from the North DeKalb area.
Our students are eager to learn and engage with their teachers and classmates to create memorable learning experiences.
My Project
Our media center is missing a puppet theatre! Students at our school are very visual, and would greatly benefit from the colorful, vibrant puppets on stage during storytime in the media center to help with comprehension skills. Teachers and students will also be able to reserve the media center space to use the puppet theatre to tell stories.
We also have a video production room where students and teachers can make videos; however, we don't have student-friendly recording equipment to make that happen.
With the KidCams, students can create their own school-related videos for projects and class assignments with ease.
