My Students

Our students are energetic, inquisitive, and often times hilarious learners. Our students have an opinions and are not afraid to share it. They change moods and interest often as they soak in all that the world has to offer. They are developing their independent personalities and learning all of the world's possibilities. These are beautiful young people with a passion for life that is infectious. They are part of our school community and challenge our adult beliefs everyday. They will be productive members of our society if they are given a chance to explore.

My Project

Over the past school year, our campus has dedicated a space to design thinking. In our MakerSpace students can access materials and a 3-D printer to make prototypes. Our families and teachers have donated materials that are used by all students to complete design challenges. Currently we have two toolboxes with miscellaneous tools that have been donated to our MakerSpace.

In order to encourage our teachers and students to do more engineering projects we need complete toolboxes.

I am asking for screwdriver sets and hammers. The tools I’m requesting will help us start to create tool kits that are complete and can be able to use in small groups. These tools will develop the student’s motor skills and calculation skills as they learn to “measure twice and cut once”.
