As you walk through the doors of our Title I, South Georgia middle school, you will immediately feel the excitement and eagerness to learn from everyone you encounter. Our future leaders are always seen smiling and engaged with the learning process, while our lead learners work tirelessly seeking ways to best prepare our future leaders for college and career readiness through relevant connections made through their teachings and practices.
It is a blessing to be a part of a schoolhouse family that caters to the academic, behavioral, and social and emotional needs of all stakeholders day in and day out.
At our middle school, we encourage innovation and highlight those individuals who are going above and beyond to achieve their goals. For this, we are forever grateful.
Making sure that our student-athletes are well hydrated throughout the school day and during athletic competitions plays an integral role in our middle school student-athletes' health and safety. As the head coach of our middle school boys' basketball team, our coaching staff expects a lot out of our student-athletes. To maximize their endurance and resiliency, hydration is necessary.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, how we as coaches are able to provide drinks to our student-athletes during after-school practices and games has changed how we have had to distribute these means for hydration.
Before the pandemic, communal water bottles were utilized by every team in America. But due to new COVID-19 protocols and measures, our coaching staff has elected to provide our student-athletes with their own individual Gatorades and/or Body Armor drinks to satisfy their hydration needs during after-school competition.
