My Students
My students attend a high-ability school that can be found in the heart of Indianapolis. Students who attend our school come from all over the school system and are eager to learn and have fun.
During indoor recess, two classrooms of active and excited third graders converge on the recess game center.
They are in search of interactive games that stimulate their mind. Students are encouraged to play, talk, think, and have fun with their classmates. Research shows that students who immerse themselves in interactive play tend to be healthier... emotionally, socially, and academically.
My Project
What is there to do when you are stuck inside? Play, of course! My students need games for indoor recess. With fifty students in one classroom, having meaningful activities available is a necessity.
By donating to our project, you will be ensuring that my students are actively engaged during recess.
The requested games provide opportunities for group interaction and entertaining tasks. A well-organized recess center with storage shelves and bins ensure that students can easily locate their favorite game and start playing. So let the fun begin!
For those days when we can't go outside to play, our recess game center will warm everyone up!
