This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hi, we need a Public Announcement (PA) System. Please help us.

My students are very talented, creative and enthusiastic individuals who are full of ideas.

My students want to share their imagination and dream with other individuals. Our school's mission is to enhance the students' independence and promote their abilities that are advanced through the use of multiple pathways to learning.

My Project

My students will utilize the PA system to help them target their social emotional and communication IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals in the following ways: First, the students will practice appropriate turn-taking conversation techniques. Second, they will practice pretend play skills by acting as a talk show host and ask and answer questions about specific topics based on Common Core Learning Standards. Third, they will make daily Public Service announcements.

As my first DonorsChoose project, your donation will fund the purchase of this PA system.

This purchase will encourage my students to use their language and vocabulary in an environment where they can speak in public with ease and confidence.
