My Students

Every moment counts in third grade. Yet sometimes instruction is delayed while the teacher sorts out a playground problem after recess or interacts with a parent at the beginning of the day. That's why I love the resource booklet called Bellwork.

Bellwork is a resource booklet that is aligned to California State standards.

Bellwork is completed independently by students at the beginning of the day or right after recess and can be quickly corrected by the teacher. It is a quick transitional tool to maximize instructional time so that precious time is not wasted. Presently I am teaching third grade at a Title 1 school. My students are bright and eager to learn. Most of my students are second language learners. Bellwork will help provide the additional language support they need to progress academically.

My Project

Having a class set of Bellwork resource booklets will allow my students to maximize transitional time and become independent workers as they master Reading and Language Arts skills. The class routine of using Bellwork becomes internalized and makes transitions seamless.

Your donation will help my students achieve their academic goals this year.

In the past, Bellwork resource booklets have been provided for us. However, due to the shrinking school budget in California, Bellwork is considered a luxury and no longer provided. Thank you for your interest in my proposal.
