Help me give my students snacks to motivate their engagement and maximize their performance.

I am teaching 5th and 6th grade in Baltimore City, Maryland. My students are amazing, bright scholars excited and ready for the new school year. Many of the students are learning English as a second language and need extra support in the classroom. I am trying to find the best ways to support each student and ensure they succeed. My students are vibrant and excited to learn. They have the energy and capability to learn and I want to be there to see it! We always discuss that we need to work as a team so that we can all succeed - in order to do that, I need the supplies to do my part!
These snacks will ensure that students are able to focus and feel loved at the same time. I currently teach 5th and 6th grade in a poverty-stricken neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland. This means many students come to school hungry. Also, some of my students struggle to make it early enough for breakfast. This means that lunch may be the first meal of the day for my students. However, my students do not have lunch until 1:45 pm. In other words, students who may have made the 9 am breakfast may still lose their focus and their ability to perform at their best after 12 pm.
As their math teacher, I want to remove hunger from the equation to ensure each student's performance increases.
It is challenging to recall important information needed in problem-solving or to express one's self if their physiological needs are not met. In other words, if a child is hungry they are more likely to make negative decisions and produce lower quality work. The plan is to have a snack break at the beginning of class to ensure students are able to give their undivided attention to the content rather than the rumblings from their stomachs. Many of the students I have this school year I am familiar with. I was able to take inventory of snacks they like such as granola bars and chocolate. In addition, I have a couple of vegans in my class and I want to ensure they feel welcomed and loved as well. This is why I am requesting the vegan snack box.
In sum, these snacks will motivate positive behavior and ensure students are not distracted from hunger. Your assistance will ensure students are connecting their thoughts, working well with others and remind them they are loved.
