My students need 25 copies each of 2 "Max Axiom" books, on food chains and ecosystems.

This is my first year teaching 5th grade Science and I can't wait to go back next year. I teach about 60 students in a high need area in California. Our students have to be dedicated to their learning because they are in school every day from 7:15 until 5:00 and one Saturday a month. We have great kids!

The reading teacher and I are constantly trying to incorporate lessons in Science that have reading. I see both the girls and the boys with graphic novels and would love to find a way to use them in my classroom. That's when I found Max Axiom. His graphic novels in Science are spot on with the Science and they are fun to read! I would like these books for the classroom to teach ecosystems and food chains.

I would like class sets of two books - Max Axiom's books on food chains and ecosystems. I have about 25 students in a class and having a class set of books allows the students to read with me and read aloud to each other. The pictures in these books are great and if the student has the book in hand they can see for themselves. Copies just don't do it justice.
