My students are involved in an International Baccalaureate Program, which places a strong emphasis on Physical Education. My students often share with me that Physical Education is one of the most positive points in their day; I love hearing from ALL of my students that they enjoy PE!

My Project
An integral part of our 1.5 hour classes in Physical Education is to provide our students with an appropriate warm-up activity at the beginning of each class.
Our Physical Education coaches like to provide the students with a large group warm-up to gradually increase their heart rates before jumping straight into the main activity for the day.
We combine our classes due to space limitations, and we have up to 102 students in the gym at a time. Antimicrobial mats are an essential part to our daily warm-up routines to provide a safe platform for our students to perform their warm-up activities efficiently and effectively.
