My children want to succeed, and providing them with classroom materials that meet their diverse needs, will give them the opportunity to thrive academically.
Our school has a high percentage of children who receive free or reduced-price lunches. We serve many children from the Lumi Tribe, and within my classroom, there is a wonderfully diverse culture that enriches our learning environment. My school has an awesome team of teachers who care deeply for our children and work together as a team!
My Project
These amazing resources will give my children hands-on materials to engage them in the learning process. These resources will offer my children many opportunities to practice and acquire strategies to master skills in reading, math and learning about our continents and oceans.
With incredible photos, eye-catching graphics and super-absorbing stories about incredible plants, weather these high-interest text set will captivate my children—and make nonfiction text a breeze to comprehend!
The Wild Weather and Incredible Plants literacy units will give me engaging materials to use during reading interventions to teach children how to find text evidence to answer questions. Hank the Cowdog and How to Speak Dog will also offer my children engaging text during small group reading instruction. These books will provide engaging text for struggling readers.
The hands-on math center games Adding Two Digit Numbers and Pop for Addition and Subtraction will allow my children to practice and become proficient in math strategies to successfully solve math problems. These games are fun, engaging and get kids excited to practice needed math skills.
The clip boards will give my children the ability to work around the room. They wouldn't be tied to their desks and could work in a place that's best for them.
