Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My 4th graders are a wild bunch of personalities, and they are so eager to learn. We have struggled in having the necessary supplies needed to make us as successful as possible, that is why we have set up this DonorsChoose.org project.

All students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many students receive bags of food for the weekend just to get them by until they can have a hot meal on Monday in school.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and be successful. Please help us be successful by enabling us to get some necessary classroom supplies!

My Project

During small group time my students need games to play to help them independently practice the skills taught during whole group lessons.

My students love games.

It will help them deepen their understanding, as well as help them practice their social/emotional skills by working together!

These math games are organized by topic and would allow my students to quickly retrieve what they need depending on the unit being covered, making the transitions fast and seamless.

Please help up to really master our standards by allowing my students a fun and entertaining way to practice. They really thrive when working in a competitive environment that these games would provide.
