Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
What makes my students special is that it is my first year to teach. These students will always be remembered as my first students. We are part of a triad which means that I am responsible for teaching Math and Writing to three classes a day. One class consist of Gifted and talented students, another is inclusion, and the third class is very diverse in regards to population and academic performance.
Our school is highly diverse and is a Title I school that is celebrating our 40th anniversary.
I am a new second grade teacher and am looking to provide my students with products that are going to help them succeed and grow academically as well as socially to become productive members of our society.
My Project
These materials will help us to organize our classroom so that we know exactly where to find our supplies. We will use the book bins to have a safe place to keep our Writing and Math journals. We will use the storage containers to keep our station manipulatives organized and prepared. In doing so, we can spend more time learning and less time storing our supplies.
We are a Title I school celebrating the 40th Anniversary.
Obtaining this support, will allow our transition times to be conducted more efficiently and in a more organized manner so that we can spend more time on our new rug, together, learning Math!
