Students in my class come to school everyday ready to learn and excited about our school day. They are welcomed each day by many faces that are happy to see them at school and excited to share learning with them. Our school is a low income school with over 60% of our population on free and reduced price meals. We have many active military families within our school population. My students are constantly engaged in learning and I and always looking for new ways to make learning fun!
My Project
I have a wide range of skills in my classroom. I have students who are constantly needing to be challenged and I have students who just need some extra support and practice with math concepts.
My students are constantly challenging me to challenge them!
With these materials students will be able to work independently or with partner to learn and reinforce math skills. The addition flip boards will be great to help those who need the extra support in math. The subtraction flip boards will be great to challenge my higher-level thinkers.
The ten frame boards will be great and engaging for students to work together and check each other's thinking. The number locks will be great for those students who are still working on number recognition!
