My students need hands-on math activities, practice journals and a teaching clock to work with during centers.
No more boring worksheets! Help our class learn to master mathematics with hands-on practice.
My students are excited about learning and enjoy when they can become involved with the learning hands-on.
We aren't a Title 1 school so technology is limited and I don't want to always use worksheets to practice the skills that we are learning in math.
Second graders learn best when they see and manipulate objects to reinforce the skills they are being told. By providing the math games for the students to use during centers, the students are having fun while they are learning. The fact that they aren't having to use a pencil to fill in a worksheet always improves their involvement with the activity. Math is as important as reading for a successful education and these materials will help the students attain a high level of involvement.
I want to make my students' math experience as well-rounded and productive as possible.
The materials requested will be used for several years not only helping this year's class but several classes in the future.
