My Students

The students in my classroom are from a low income area. Our school is a Title I school, we have limited resources. Technology is extremely limited for our babies. Our students LOVE technology and being able to learn through it. I would love to provide them more engaging opportunities in my math classroom to learn while using tablets. I would incorporate them in centers as well as during my small group instruction. This would give them a variety of opportunities to get their hands on the tablets throughout our class time.

My Project

These tablets will allow students to engage in games and interactive assignments. I will use them in order to enhance their learning and understanding of different topics. They can use them during the technology center. I will also use the tablets during small group instruction for them to engage in games such as Kahoot! We can use this fun and engaging game as a review before any of our tests! The students will see this as making learning fun. I can easily use this tool as a formative assessment while having each student fully engaged! My fifth graders are hard workers and deserve the best most engaging education I can provide for them!
