Help me give my students resources to practice writing numbers, counting, and adding!
This project expired on September 1, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are Pre-K, special needs students who are full of energy, love, and life. They are talkative, love to learn, build, and explore. They also enjoy dressing up and cooking in creative play.
Our children have a wide range of unique talents and abilities that highlight the unique individuals they are, from asking engaging questions to sharing their life experiences!
They are such a joy, and I love each of them. You will not be disappointed supporting this wonderful group of children.
We practice writing every day in my classroom, but I have focused so much on letter formation and writing words, that I have neglected writing numbers. We practice using technology, but my students need additional resources to strengthen this skill. I currently have two math writing books, but am asking for more to give all of my students access to practice forming numbers.
The printing numbers writing books will help strengthen the writing skills of my students, as well as number recognition and counting.
I also added individual magnetic boards so that my students can practice independently.
In addition to the writing books, I included magnetic numbers and counters. Currently, we have magnetic numbers that the students practice with in Math. A favorite of theirs is to put the numbers in order on the white board, but this set includes counters, so that the students will have objects to match to the numbers. This set will also serve as a reinforcement to my students who are adding and as an introduction to those who are ready to go to the next level in their math learning. These hands-on materials will enhance the math practice of my students.
