My students need organization. A calendar that has large spaces to record assignments, incentive charts for students to track their assignments, flip chart, clipboards, and markers will help the teacher keep students organized.
My students come to school energetic and ready to learn every day, however, organization is a struggle. Middle school students strive to do well in classes, however, middle school is quite a bit different than elementary school. I have about 145 students on my team that rotate between 8 different teachers. Having numerous classes causes a mess when it comes to remembering what is due and when. My students need a large calendar whiteboard to keep track of assignments.
My Project
The calendar will help students see their daily assignments. Each day has a large section for the teacher to indicate the assignment. If a student misses, they will have a clear spot to look for what they missed.
The clipboards will allow students to move around the room while keeping their work "clipped" into one space which will prevent students losing papers all over the room.
Command hooks will be for the teacher to organize the clipboards to the wall. Flip charts will help the teacher display the assignment expectations in a large way with colorful markers. Colored postcards will help the teacher organize class information by the hour.
