This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, super competitive, active, and love hands on type work. They are super engaged in learning when it comes to using technology and love learning through games! We do lots of group work and use many different learning strategies in our classroom. One thing we are in need of right now are calculators and Chromebooks. It would be really awesome to be able to have a classroom set of calculators and additional Chromebooks to use in class.

My Project

I currently need calculators for a group of students I teach math to. These calculators will help them tremendously with math and also give them the additional manipulative support they are required to have in class. I've also included mouses for the Chromebooks on my list because it will make it easier for my students to navigate things on their screens quicker. They also say using a mouse allows them to work through things faster. I know these calculators and mouses will make a positive impact on my students learning experience and would love to be able to have a classroom environment that can provide these materials.
