Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love how my students are always willing to learn new content. As a title I school, my students struggle when it comes to tools needed in math such as calculators and other material needed to demonstrate their learning.
In our 8th grade math classroom, students are always presenting their work and understanding in poster paper, double checking their answers using a calculator and making sure they have all materials to be successful.
Having these materials in the classroom makes this possible. Students really enjoy being creative when it comes to show their work.
