This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am an 'evolving teacher'(at least trying) and I have taken on a task of changing my Algebra 2 classroom from a "normal" math curriculum classroom into a " Math Thinking Classroom". We are in desperate need of the items listed and so much more to be successful. This classroom setup will help students learn math from each other in a small groups, using whiteboards and markers. My students will be moving around writing on white boards and using math skills to help their fellow classmates. I will be the teacher as a coach. I am so excited to see the kids learn math and actually be excited about it. If you feel inclined to help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time!
