My Students

When I met my students at the beginning of the year, many said they didn't like math and weren't good at it. My goal was to help them engage with math in ways that are fun and educational!

We're halfway through the year now, and many students tell me they've never enjoyed math or gotten good scores!

These students believe in their mathematical ability for the first time. I'm proud of them!

My Project

In 8th grade math, we have several units which focus on graphing and transforming figures.

I need the right supplies to provide fun, educational, hands-on mathematical experiences for my students!

I have requested folders to use for math workbooks. We are learning from an online curriculum; however, math projects are easier for many students when they are done on paper. My goal is to print worksheets and compile workbooks so my students can do their graphing activities on paper, in addition to using the computer.

I am also requesting a durable set of classroom rulers. My old rulers were flimsy and most are broken. I want my students to use sturdy rulers for their graphing projects.
