My Project

My students struggle in math, and therefore have 2 math classes. Their regular class and my Math Lab class. These students already were avoiding math, as it was difficult for them, so when COVID-19 and online learning happened, these students were especially hit hard. By creating an atmosphere of fun, creativity and tactile learning, students are learning to find joy in a subject that they used to avoid at all costs. The creation of posters and interactive notebook pages allows them to use their creative skills as well as end with a product that is informational to lend in retaining important skills.
